What is the employment of alteñas womens? Descriptive analysis of formal work of womens in the Región Altos Sur of Jalisco from 2007 to 2014

Abstract

The document presents a descriptive study on the employment of women in the Región de los Altos Sur of the state of Jalisco. The intention was to observe the occupation of alteñas women in the last eight years. The objective of this study was: perform an analysis of the employment of women in the region and in each one of the twelve municipalities that form it. The study gives an account of the remunerated occupations that boast higher records of women in the formal work; It provide statistical data in the period 2007 to 2014, broken down by division and economic group. Alteñas women are decreasing their participation in the primary sector, falling to fourth place in the economic divisions. Now the data show that in the first order, the majority of women is working in the processing industry and subsequently, in the division of services and in the trade.
