Abstract

This document presents the results of a research whose objective is to evaluate a model that shows the effect of attitudinal, demographic and contextual factors on teachers of the Technological Institute of Culiacan to incorporate Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in teaching. From the methodological point of view, it was a mixed research of qualitative and quantitative, it was developed through a transactional study. For the investigation, a previously validated survey and a semi-structured interview were used. The sample consisted of 119 professors belonging to the Technological Institute of Culiacan. The results showed that attitudinal factors such as compatibility, previous experience and relative advantage as well as work motivation and ease of use significantly influence the attitude of ITC teachers to incorporate ICT into the teaching process. 46.2% state that the capacities of the personnel are not optimal. Regarding technological capital, 37.8% of the surveyed sample said that the internet connectivity in the organization is inadequate; and 42.9%, said that the computer equipment assigned to perform their work is not in the best conditions.
