Evaluación del ecoturismo comunitario: reserva Benito Juárez, Catemaco, Veracruz, México

Abstract

Resumen

La población mundial se ha ido sensibilizando hacia el cuidado  del planeta, y cada una de las diversas ciencias han colaborado desde su ámbito con el objetivo de rescatar, mantener y proteger el entorno, por ello, surge la necesidad de nuevos modelos económicos sustentables para una economía centrada en elevar la tasa de desarrollo económico  de manera indefinida  hacia una concepción económica que atienda el cuidado del  entorno, con  conciencia  de  un planeta finito  y  pequeño,   con  recursos  limitados; es decir, crear una nueva representación económica de las organizaciones que incluya las dimensiones biofísicas y socioeconómicas del entorno.

La satisfacción humana y la calidad de vida incluyen la noción de satisfacción en términos que no deben ser confundidas con el equilibrio de  variables  macroeconómicas,  superando la concepción   de  homus  economicus  por una representación más antropológica de la naturaleza humana.

La presente investigación es la evaluación del turismo comunitario en la Reserva Ejidal Benito Juárez, Catemaco, Veracruz, a través de un diagnóstico FODA, con la metodología participación-acción,  que incluye un esfuerzo de trabajo colectivo entre investigadores, estudiantes y la comunidad.

Abstract

The world population has been sensitized to the care  of the planet,  and  each  of the different sciences have collaborated from their field in order to rescue, maintain and protect the environment. Therefore, the need for new economic models for sustainable economy for 

an economy centered on raising the rate of economic development in a indefinite maner to an economic conception, that addresses the care of the environment with an awareness of a small and finite planet, with limited resources, in other words, create a new economic representation of organizations that integrates biophysical  and socio-economic  dimensions of the environment.

 Human satisfaction and life quality include the notion of satisfaction in terms that should not to be confused with the balance of macroeconomic variables, overcoming the homus economicus conception for a more human-nature anthropological representation.

 In this research we evaluated the community-based tourism in the Reserve Ejido Benito Juarez, Veracruz Catemaco, through a SWOT diagnosis with the participation-action methodology,  which includes   a  teamwork effort between researchers, students and the community.
