Abstract

The goal of this paper is to analyze the endogenous and exogenous dominant factors of   the   Acknowledgement   of   Information and   Communication   Technologies   (ICTA) in  Spanish  Small  and  Medium  Enterprises (SMEs). A economic model was created with a sample of 85 enterprises, that was then validated statistically using normality and heteroscedasticity tests. The results show that all the proposed exogenous variables explain the changes in the ICTA. For Spanish SMEs, the most valuable factors taken into account to identify the importance of the ITC as a strategic tool for their business are the Business Resources, Technological Resources, Upper Management Commitment, and the Behavior of the Support Institutions.
