Abstract

Today, society in general, is concerned about the predatory effects of enterprise management based on production processes that require non-renewable resources to operate with habits and non-sustainable developed and adopted over time. In response, one of the challenges facing the discussion of sustainability is to design frameworks that tangibly evaluate this aspect. In this regard, and based on the model Penta-dimensional of corporate sustainability that considers five dimensions, is studied in a sample of small and medium-sized companies located in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara, the level of compliance with the sustainability who, that through their executives or owners, answer the applied cross-cutting instrument. In this respect and to be used as a formal method  to  the  hypothetical  deductive  and its qualitative interpretation, is observed the phenomenon under a sustainable context that allows to establish conclusions and reflections aimed at achieving sustainable management in harmony with the environment.
