Impact of technological intensity on business performance: Analysis of SMEs in Nuevo Laredo

IT has become relevant to companies in all economic sectors, mainly the process of globalization in which they are immersed, so that small and medium enterprises look for the best technologies to generate a better organizational performance. Therefore, the research aims to identify the impact of IT on organizational performance in SMEs in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas. To fulfill this objective, 106 managers of SMEs were surveyed and used multivariate techniques to verify the relationship between IT intensity and performance. The results demonstrate a positive and significant impact of IT on business performance.
