Society is immersed in a constantly evolving digital era and faces complex challenges that, in order to be solved, require reflection and the development of proposals based on the integration of different disciplines. Using a qualitative approach based on semi-structured interviews and thematic analysis, key factors were identified that link ITD and TC to teaching practice and curriculum design, proposing an interdisciplinary model that enhances the resolution of business and social problems, this article analyses the gap identified in understanding how these elements are applied and integrated into the educational process of the Master’s in Administrative Informatics programme at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). The findings of this research help identify the synergy between IDT and KT in postgraduate education, proposing a model that incorporates cultural, educational, and social development.
