The purpose of this research is to identify the performance of the productive sectors of the State of Quintana Roo during the period between 2016 - 2020 and to observe if the health contingency affected their development. It is through descriptive statistics and the construction of the Revealed Comparative Advantage Index that exports and imports are analyzed by branch of activity, according to the HS Classification; to show the comparative advantage and productive competitiveness that the State of Quintana Roo has with respect to the rest of the country. Identifying key activities helps to help identify the efficient allocation of the country's resources and seek the correct specialization, either in these categories or in other productive activities that are more profitable and with greater added value. Among the results, it is shown that 6 economic activities present comparative advantages in exports with an IVCR greater than one. There are ten activities that show a comparative advantage in imports and only one activity is that shows that it is competitive according to the net indicator
