Models of business development to promote the productivity of the SMEs

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze business development models to boost productivity of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), supported by: Torres (2014), Guizar (2013), among others. To achieve the models of Managerial Grid, Lawrence and Lorsch and the Three-Dimensional Theory of Managerial Efficiency are distinguished. A methodology positivist, through an explanatory, non-experimental, transactional, field design, population the MIPYMES of Cartagena, with an intentional sample of seventy-six (76) subjects. A questionnaire survey of nine (9) questions was applied, using a Likert scale, validated through expert judgment. Reliability of Alpha Cronbach coefficient was α = .92, is high. The results processed with the statistics Analysis of Variance. Concluding the greater presence of the 3D model that sets objectives aimed at achieving efficiency, however, the Managerial Grid allows emphasizing the leadership styles of the Directorate and finally, the Lawrence and Lorsch, since it allows adapting the organizational structures.
