Abstract

This paper investigates the influence of local governments, throughout policy management, on the level of social exclusion. We derived a set of conclusions based on a case study of municipalities within different regions in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico. The main findings suggest that there is a positive correlation between these variables. This confirms our initial thoughts about the role of local management government on their capability for influencing population welfare.
