Conflict of interest policy

According to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), a conflict of interest occurs when the authors, reviewers, or editors of the journal have interests that can influence their decisions at any stage related to the publication process.

According to COPE (https://publicationethics.org/guidance?classification=2774), conflicting interests can be personal, commercial, political, academic, or economic.

CATyP invites authors to communicate conflicts of interest that exist in the writing and/or submission of a publication proposal. Similarly, the reviewers are required to declare any conflict of interest that may influence their work. CATyP reserves the right to request the corresponding review if there is a declaration of conflict. Finally, the Editorial Committee of CATyP is committed to making decisions that prevent the emergence of conflicts of interest or that help to eliminate them in all phases of the editorial process.
