Is organizacional culture related with motivation and performance in Mexico?

Abstract

Organizational  culture  has  been  a  subject of   interest   by   many   researchers   since 1980. This research proposes a model for the relationship between organizational culture, motivation and performance   of   Data was collected using a questionnaire which  was  applied  to  310  people  working in   five   manufacturing   companies   located in the state of Nuevo Leon, Mexico. This questionnaire measures were obtained from researchers who had previously used them. Denison model was used to operacionalized organizational culture. Motivation with the theory of expectations developed by Vroom. Hypotheses were tested using Pearson regressions & correlations. The results showed a positive relationship between culture of the organization, degree of motivation and both individual and group performance. Among the most  relevant  implications  for  managers  is the recognition of the importance of motived people.   Furthermore,   the   results   suggest that the success of the company is related to organizational culture.
